About Course
A Six-Week Journey for Clergy, Caregivers & Spiritual Leaders
Self-Care as a Spiritual Practice
Caring for others is a sacred responsibility. Sustaining that care over a lifetime asks something too: attention to your own spiritual, emotional, physical, and relational well-being.
Six Weeks · Self-Guided · Trauma-Informed
This course is a self-guided learning experience built for clergy, caregivers, helping professionals, and spiritual leaders who want to develop sustainable practices of renewal, resilience, and holistic wellness. Through reflection, assessment tools, guided practices, and practical exercises, you’ll build a rhythm of care you can actually keep.
You cannot pour from an empty vessel — and your calling was never meant to require that you try.
The Six Weeks
Each week builds on the last, moving from why self-care matters to a plan you’ll carry beyond the course. Tap a week to see its focus.
1 Calling & Service
Examine the relationship between self-care, calling, and service — and why tending your own well-being is part of faithfulness to the work, not a departure from it.
2 Naming the Weight
Learn to recognize the early and later signs of burnout, compassion fatigue, and emotional exhaustion in yourself — before they name themselves for you.
3 The Body Remembers
Explore the connection between trauma, the body, and spiritual care, and how understanding your own nervous system changes the way you offer and receive care.
4 Boundaries & Rhythm
Build healthier boundaries and sustainable rhythms of life — practical structures that support caregiving for years, not just this season.
5 Receiving Grace
Name your personal barriers to self-care and renewal, and practice self-compassion as an act of spiritual formation — not indulgence.
6 Community & the Long Road
Consider the role of community in resilience, then complete your personal, Holistic Self-Care Plan — something to carry with you well beyond these six weeks.
